A thousand years since the War of Light and Dark ended. Peace has come and lasted since then. Crime is almost gone, and all criminals of great stature have been imprisoned.

All criminals...save one...

Ransik...

"Unit fifteen, secure all exits on the south side, go! Unit seven, cover all exits on the west and east side, go! All air units, cover the roof tops!"

Within the warehouse, a man sighed with sorrow as he watched the police scramble about in effort to capture him. "Such fools," he mused. "They want their, 'great noble future'. You can have it, racists. Oh, color and world of origin matters not, but you 'humans' cast out those of your own kind who were mutated and disfigured by accident...some great view of justice."
He walked away from the window and toward a tall metal arch, shaking his head as he stood before it. "They want their future, let them! Time and history are about to be rewritten, and this time, we won't be treated like dirt!"
He walked toward the now active time gate, then was flung back as the control panel exploded. "What?!" he cried, looking about in attempt to find the source of the blast.
As the explosion died down, a red armored form walked out from behind several crates, his face hidden by the red arrow-shaped visor of his helmet. "Ransik!" he barked. "Under the authority of Time Force, you're under arrest!"
"You don't know what your doing!" Ransik snapped back. "Do you have any idea what I'm trying to do for all of us?!"
"I'm stopping you from destroying the past and humanity!"
There was a snort of contempt from Ransik. He knew that this man was so bluntly ignorent of the truth. "You foolish Ranger! You don't get it, do you?! This isn't about power, this is about making it equal!"
"Dead or alive," the Red Ranger stated. "You're coming with me!"

Force from the Future
Part 1

Battle ensured as Ransik raced at his foe, the Ranger flipping back to dodge the swing and kicking the mutant as he came back to his feet. Ransik grunted a bit as he swiftly returned the favor and sent the Ranger flying back with his own powerful kick. "When will you ignorant people figure out we mutants are not the enemy?!"
"You threaten mankind, that makes you the enemy!" the Red Ranger snapped back, back flipping away as everything suddenly slowed down. His hand reached out and grabbed something that was impaled into the time gate's control panel, pulling it out to reveal that it was a blade weapon of some kind while time resuming its normal flow as he landed.
Ransik merely frowned as he held out his arm, one of the robots nearby throwing him its weapon. "Fancy trick, but you won't stop the justice of time!"

As the police kept watch outside in case the criminals inside tried to escape, a sleek hover cycle came to a stop near the commanding officer, the rider taking off her helmet and running over to salute her superior. "Sir, how are we doing?"
"We've got Ransik trapped inside," the older man replied while returning the salute. "Lieutenant Murphy went in to try and get him subdued, he's been in there almost half an hour now."
Just as he said those words, a massive explosion blasted out from the doors of the building, throwing back those nearby.
"Oh my god..."
"Alex?!"
As the debris settle, the people saw movement and raised their weapons. After a moment, they were surprised and ecstatic as Ransik was forced out, his hands bound with metal cuffs, and behind him was the Red Ranger, a device in hand.
"Alex!"
The Ranger looked up as Ransik collapsed to his knees, several officers running over to take the mutant into tighter custody. "Thanks."
"Lieutenant!"
The Ranger looked up and tapped his belt buckle, suit de-energizing to reveal a tan skinned man with dark brown hair in the same white colored outfit as the rest of the police. "Captain Logan, sir."
"Good work, Murphy."
"Not a moment too soon either," the lieutenant replied, holding up the device in his hand. "It's the flux core to a time gate. He could have gone anywhere in time."
Logan frowned as he looked at the flux core. "Any second later, and it would have been a disaster. Good work." He took the core and returned Murphy's salute, walking off and stopping as he passed the asian female that had arrived on the hover cycle. "Take care of him, Yuuri."
The woman nodded and ran over to Murphy, stopping as if she didn't know what to do as he took a parade rest position. "Alex...knock it off!" she stated, hopping at him and taking him into a hug.

Days later, Ransik stood at the center of a huge chamber, chained and bound in place as people looked on from the seats surrounding the room. He made no smile or frown, his face stone cold as he looked to the side, making eye contact with a woman in total black. Cracking a small smile at her, the woman returning the smile as Ransik looked back up at the judges' stand.
"In the matter of the People versus Ransik, the judges' council is still in chambers!"
One of the people in the section held in reserve for Time Force turned to her companion with a smile. "This is so perfect! Ransik is going down for sure!"
"Nothing's for sure, Katie," the man replied. He had a worried look on his face while glancing back down at the courtroom floor.
"Lucas, don't be such a pessimist!"
"Syon!" a small eagle styled robot called from a lower row. "Help me up, I can't see anything!"
The green haired young man in the row sighed as he turned back to face the robot. "Circuit, please, this is a court room!"
A man with a sitting next to Syon smiled and shook his head as he picked up the robotic eagle. "Come on, little bot, let's get you up here."
"Thanks, Domon."

Meanwhile, Alex and Yuuri stood outside on a balcony looking out at the city. "Finally...with Ransik and his consortium finally locked away...we can finally spend some time together."
"Hai...be nice to finally have a date with my koibito," Yuuri replied with a smile.
Alex chuckled a bit as he looked at her. "Actually," he continued, "I was thinking of something a bit more permanent."
"Nani?" Yuuri asked, then saw Alex pull out a small translucent box, opening it to reveal a sparkling sky blue crystal ring. "Arajouten..."
"Yuuri," Alex began, smiling as he slipped the ring on her finger. "Will you marry me?" He smiled when he saw that the woman could barely hold her happiness. With a squeal, she latched on to him, Alex laughing as he almost fell back. "Whoa! Hey, is that a yes?"
"Hai, hai!"
Alex shook his head and sighed. "Once he's locked away...it's just you and me..."
"For all time," Yuuri finished with a smile.
"The judges have reached a verdict!" came the voice from inside the courtroom. "The court will now reconvene!"
Alex smiled as he took Yuuri's hand and lead her back inside, the two taking their seats next to Captain Logan as the three judges appeared.
"The Panel has reached a verdict," the center hologram stated, everyone rising to their feet in respect. "The defendant is found guilty of all charges, and is sentenced to cryogenic containment, without the possibility of parole...permanently!"
A mass of cheers went up from the people in the courtroom, Alex and Logan exchanging congratulations. No one noticed, however, as the woman in black frowned and looked to Ransik, the man cracking a smile as if none of it bothered him. He was then pulled by several officers, grunting in resistance as he fought and turned to glare at Alex and Yuuri, staring at the two coldly before he was dragged away.

Hours later, Ransik found himself pushed and prodded into the back of a hover carrier prison transport. The guards quickly locked him in as Yuuri and Captain Logan walked over, the former getting her orders from the Captain. "We're depending on you and your team to get Ransik to the prison," Logan stated.
Yuuri nodded as she paused at the entrance of the carrier. "Inamondai, Captain, you can count on us."
"Good, we'll expect him to be in cryo within the next two hours." Logan nodded to Yuuri as she saluted and boarded the carrier. "Alright, move out!"

An hour later as they headed down the road, Yuuri kept her eyes on Ransik, the man surprisingly smiling for one who was on his was to an eternal sleep. "I wouldn't be so happy if I had a future such as yours."
Ransik merely continued to smile in reply. "But the future, my dear, is full of surprises." He then sotfly laughed as the carrier came to a halt, Yuuri looking at the cab door in surprise. "It seems we've found one right now."
Yuuri glared at him and tapped the comlink on her wrist. "Lucas, what's going on?"
"I'm not sure," came the equally confused reply. "Looks like someone's down out on the road..."
"Lucus, we got an injured civilian here, call for a med team and ambulance, and...oh shi..."
Yuuri frowned as she stood up and looked through the window on the door, gasping at what she saw before a blinding light swept over the area. "What the hell?! Lucas, go! Get us out of here now!"
The driver quickly punched in full throttle, Ransik laughing from his spot in the back of the carrier as explosions rocked the craft. Yuuri fought to stay standing, then hit the floor hard before falling to the wall as a blast sent the carrier tipping over and crashing on its side, skidding to a halt.

Fire burned from the wreckage of the transport, slowly dying down as the pink haired woman and a gold robot walked through the debris. Ransik smiled as he walked toward them, chains and restraints having been broken and ripped off. "Good work, Frax."
"Your plan is going exactly as you expected, Ransik," the robot replied, bowing slightly in respect. "With Time Force under the illusion that you are being taken to cryo-freeze, we have the distraction to get to the prison and put your plan in action."
"Oh big brother!" the pink haired woman squealed as she ran up to Ransik. "I need a new dress...this one got all dirty lying on the road."
Ransik suddenly glared at the young woman. "I'd prefer you keep your mind based more on important goals," he replied, shaking his head as the three walked away. It was then that he turned at the sound of a loud thud coming from the transport.
"Teiryuu!" Yuuri's voice stated, the woman holding up her blaster at the three criminals while struggling to stay standing and awake. "You're not, going anywhere!"
"So, you have some fight left in you," Ransik commented, though there was a tone of relief in his voice that the woman had survived. "Well, as you can see, young lady, the future is full of surprises!" He then turned as Yuuri finally collapsed from the pain and exhaustion, he and his companions walking away as she lay on the ground unconscious.

Hours later, the group of four Time Force officers huddle around a fire left from the destruction of the carrier. Yuuri was working with a com unit and finally got it working, tapping on it to bring up an image of their commander.
"What's going on, Ransik's over three hours late in..."
"Ashikarazu, Logan-teichou...we were ambushed...Ransik's escaped."
"Damnit...do you realize how long it took us to capture him?!"
"But sem'pi-"
"No excuses!" came the cold, almost mechanical return. "It was your responsibility, and you failed! You're all relieved of your duties." With that, the transmission ended, Yuuri sighing in despair.
The driver growled and grabbed the green haired member of the group by his color, picking him up. "Syon, why didn't you tell us Ransik had a plan to escape?! I thought all you Xybrians were telepathic and precognative!"
"I...I can't hear every thought!" the man replied nervously. "It's only every now and then, and precognation is really fickle!"
"Lucas, lay off him!" the tall man of the group snapped as he pried Lucas off of Syon. "Give the guy a break, telepaths can't hear everything!"

Daybreak arrived as a small craft landed at the island prison, Ransik, Nadira, and their robot companion walking toward the entrance of the complex. "First time I've been here as a visitor," Ransik commented with a chuckle.
Inside, one of the recently arrived prisoners was dragged along into a chamber, the door sliding shut before one of the guards tapped a sequence of keys on the control console. The sound of high pressure jets echoed out, the chamber opening to reveal a shrunken and frozen mutant, encased on a block of what looked like ice. One of the guards, equipped with a power lift harness, picked up the block and stored it away in a large containment block.
"Hey, fell'ahs, can't we talk about this!" one of the prisoners screamed as he was shoved along to the cyro-freezer. "I wasn't trying to steal that stuff, honest! It just fell into the back of my car! I was framed I tell ya...I want my lawyer!"
"Just shut up and get in there!" one of the guards bellowed, whacking the mutant in the back with the butt of his rifle to get him in the freezer, laughing as the door of the chamber slid shut. "Mutant scum," he muttered, then yelled as a blast slammed into his back, sending him to the ground as energy crackled over him.
"Who the hell?!" one of the other guards stated in shock just before the woman aimed her blaster and shot him as well, another pair of blasts taking out the remaining guards.
"Easy," Nadira commented as she walked toward the cryo-freeze control. "Just like I like it." She laughed, then saw one of the guards pull himself and hit the alerts, blasting him too late as alarms and klaxons blared throughout the prison. "Ah, frak."

"Alert at the Hades Island Prison, all units respond!" came the call as Alex Murphy suddenly kicked in the braking repulsors of his car, quickly spinning around as he tapped the com.
"Lieutenant Murphy here," he called into the com. "I'm on my way!" He quickly kicked in the overdrive and shot off, lifting up as the repulsors increased their lift power. There was a look in his eyes, as if he already knew now what was going to happen. He glanced to the changer on his left wrist. "You can't avoid your destiny..."

As the four former officers of Time Force walked down the road, Lucas shook his head, still unable to believe Captain Logan's words. "He shouldn't have fired us."
"Ina, we screwed up, and Ransik escaped when it was our responsibility!"
"Yeah, but it wasn't our fault! Ransik's people knew the route and the escorts, there was no way we could have..."
"Hey!"
Yuuri and Lucas turned back to see Syon and the other member of their group standing behind them, Syon panting as the gem in his forehead flashed a bright whitish color. "Domon, what's wrong?"
"He's getting some kind of vision!"
"Great," Lucas commented sarcastically. "Now he gets a vision."
"Would you knock it off?!"
Syon breathed hard as he saw images of Nadira and Ransik taking over the Hades Island prison, then shook his head as the vision ended. "They...they're at Hades Island...they've taken over the prison."
Yuuri bite her lip hard, then sighed. "We've got to get there, now."
"Wait a second, Yuuri," Lucas called as he ran to catch up. "We've gott'a tell Captain Logan-"
"Iiya," the asian woman replied coldly. "We lost Ransik, we get him back."
"And just how do we get there?" Lucas retorted. "The carrier is wrecked and so are the cycles."
Yuuri looked down the road and saw a single car headed toward them. She smiled and walked out to stand in front of its path, the driver coming to a stop before her. "Sir, this is an emergency!"
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
"Time Force, we need to commandeer your vehicle!"
The driver snorted at Yuuri and waved his hand in annoyance. "Hell no."
"Listen, baka! This is a Time Force emergency and-"
"Yuuri, hold on!" Domon stated as he ran over. "Yuuri, you have to be polite." He then grabbed the driver by his collar and flung him out of his car, smiling to Yuuri. "Get my point?"
Yuuri sighed as she looked over to Syon and Lucas, who were staring at where the driver of the car had landed. "Lucas, you drive. Let's move!"
The man shrugged as he walked over, Syon bending down to the former owner of the vehicle. "Sorry...we'll get a new one sent to you!" he stated before running off to join the others.

Ransik sighed as he watched his robot minion install the time gate core in the engines of the prison ship. "Soon," he mused to himself. "We'll avert the horrors we've endured, and the future will be a different world." He smiled, then turned to see the Red Ranger on one of the security monitors, running up a flight toward the prison. Ransik quickly turned to the robot and grabbed its hand before it could activate the time warp. "Wait!"
"What? But we-"
"There's a bit of unfinished business I have to tend to, Frax," Ransik stated, gesturing to the monitor.

It was deathly quiet as Alex reached the top of the stairs, a double blade boa weapon similar to the sword he had used before in his hands. He searched around to make sure it was clear, then turned to find Ransik standing there, an expression of contempt in his eyes. "Ransik."
"I must say, Time Ranger...you're either very stubborn, or very stupid!" the mutant commented.
"Neither!" Alex snapped back. "This is how it has to be, Ransik! You have to go back!"
With a growl, Ransik shook his head at the taunt. "Oh, how wrong you are...did you ever consider I let you defeat me?!"
Alex merely shook his head. Something about the way he carried himself told that he knew what was going on, that for him, it had already happened. "How about the idea that I knew before!" He quickly raced at the mutant, a bit surprised to find his weapon deflected as Ransik blocked it with his own sword, one he seemed to have pulled out of nowhere! "This is it!" he hissed to himself.
"Surprised?!" Ransik replied with a snarl. "It takes more than a Time Ranger to stop me!"
"Weapon or not, you can't escape justice!" Alex stated. It was now that he dropped the revealing of his knowing posture, and took up one that indicated that, regardless of knowing the outcome, he was going to fight for all he was worth. "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!" Alex raced at Ransik again, blades clashing numerous times before he was kicked away. "Damnit!"
Ransik growled in reply, then brought his hand to his back and pulled another sword out from his spine, deflecting away another blow from Alex and wrapping his left arm around the Ranger's neck. "You see, Time Ranger, I let you beat me before! I needed to be captured to carry out my plan to change things so that we mutants are not treated as we are!"
There was a struggle from Alex. "Fate has to be as it is," he replied. "You can't change the past!"
Ransik leaned his head in close, eyes narrow in anger. "You don't get it, do you! Time Force never told you the truth about us, and they never will! What I've done isn't about power!"
"Then what is it about?!"
Ransik grunted as he brought his mouth right next to the side of Alex's helmet. "This is about making it equal for all of us...before you go, let me tell you the truth of why the Time Force you serve was made. It wasn't to preserve time, it was to control it. Here's the truth of it; all terrans are mutants."
"Alex!"
Ransik turned to see Yuuri and her team arrived, Alex struggling in his grip. "And look who shows up."
"Yuuri!"
The mutant frowned and held Alex tightly. "I'll let you die knowing the truth...it's better than being lied to and having it purged from your mind by them." With that, Ransik released his grip and pushed Alex away, slashing hard with both his swords and causing a massive backlash in Alex's powers that caused his armor to ripple and distort before a explosion erupted from the overload.
"Aleeeex!"
The Ranger collapsed as Ransik turned and activated a teleporter on his belt, Alex's suit flashing and vanishing in a crackle of energy. "Yuuri..." he whispered. "I'm sorry..."
"Alex!" the woman screamed as she ran over. "No! Please no!"
"Yuuri," he painfully began as she held him. "Take my Changer...you have to catch him...there's four more in the time ship...take them and follow him into the past..."
"Iiya..." Yuuri sobbed. "I can't..."
"You can, and you have to!" Alex stated. "Promise me...you won't stop until you find him...promise me...you'll find..."
Yuuri sobbed as she nodded. "Kanegoto...I'll catch him..."
Alex wiped a tear from Yuuri's face as she cried. He knew that she didn't understand what he was really trying to tell her, but it wouldn't matter. "You and me..."
"For all time," she finished, holding his hand tightly.
Alex smiled, that look of him knowing something that Yuuri didn't. It was then that he went limp, his hand falling to the ground as Yuuri screamed out in a mix of anger and pain.

"Damnit all!" Ransik roared as as he walked into the engine room of the prison ship. "I promised myself never to take a life, now this happens!" He snapped his head about, looking to his assistent. "Frax, get us out of here, now!"
"At once!" the robot replied as he tapped in a sequence on the console, activating the time gate core and warping the prison into a time warp.

Yuuri stared at the vanishing prison ship, rage and vengeance in her eyes. "Omae o korosu, Ransik..." she swore, then looked to see a med team arrive, Domon and Lucas having to peel her away from Alex's body. "Let me go!" she snapped, then turned and stormed away, forcing herself to look away from the med team as they tried to tend to Alex. "That bastard killed Alex, and we're going after him!"
"Yuuri, they just went through a time warp!" Lucas stated. "There's no way we can follow him!"
There was a flash of rage in her eyes as she turned and glared at Lucas. "Oh yes there is!"

Alarms blared throughout Provider Base as a ship rose up into launch position on the runway. Coolents billowed down from the fuel lines as they disconnected, and the launch deck slowly turned about to bring the ship aiming straight for a large archway at the end of the runway. "Prepare for time ship launch in t-minus twenty seconds."
"What the hell is going on?!" Logan demanded as he reached the control room.
"Someone's launching the time ship and they've hacked into the controls for Providus!"
"What?!" Logan snarled as he ran over to the main com. "Who the hell would be able to..." That's when it hit him, Logan quickly activating the coms. "Damnit, Asami!"

The quartette of Yuuri, Domon, Syon and Lucas took their seats as the countdown continued, strapping in. Yuuri set down a yellow suitcase on her lap and opened it to reveal four devices like Alex's Changer. "We're set."
"Yuuri!" Syon stated. "We don't even know how to fly this thing!"
"Lucas can drive and fly anything!" she replied.
Lucas nodded as he took hold of the controls. The truth was, he wasn't so sure, but everyone was believing in him now. "Circuit, give me some help."
"Thought you'd never ask," the robotic eagle stated as he flew up and landed in the center of the console. "Providus programmed for launch of the time ship, we're ready to go!"
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Captain Logan's image stated as he appeared on a com unit near Yuuri. "Shut down those engines at once, that's a direct-"
Yuuri quickly shut off the com and turned to Lucas and Circuit. "Launch, now!"
"Final launch sequence initiated! T-minus ten, nine, eight..."
A massive yellow and black robot took position behind the time ship, lowering a visor piece that adorned its head and extending out its right hand as the time gate at the end of the runway flared to life.
"Five, four, three, two, one..."
As the four inside the ship braced themselves, the massive robot reached back and swung its arm, slamming its fist into the back of the timeship and sending it flying down the runway. The four inside held on tight as the ship raced toward the gate and blasted into the energy field, flying into the circuits of time.
